welcome to ebble counselling

Telephone, virtual and face to face sessions available

Hi, I’m Gemma.

A Counsellor/Therapist based in Salisbury, Wiltshire and Bournemouth. Registered member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP).

My approach to counselling is Humanistic, with a particular emphasis on Carl Rogers’ Person-Centred Theory. During counselling sessions, we will work together to fulfil the potential that lies within you, at a pace that is comfortable to you.

You are the expert of you; my role is to walk beside you in your journey, helping you to identify and process the things that may be holding you back.

a space for you

Offering a calm, safe space where you are free to share your innermost feelings and thoughts is key to good therapy. Confidential, in-person sessions are available in Central Salisbury, Wiltshire
and in Winton, Bournemouth.
Telephone or online sessions can also be arranged for clients who live elsewhere in the UK or for those who would prefer this approach..

working together

I work in a collaborative, person-centred way, so that you are involved at every stage of the therapy. If something doesn’t feel comfortable or you change your mind, you have the right to express this. As the client, your wellbeing remains at the centre of our work together. Sessions are held in Central Salisbury and in Winton, Bournemouth. If you are unable to access in-person therapy, online sessions are available, delivered from a confidential space using an end-to-end encrypted platform, where you can join from your own home or other confidential location. Please get in touch for more information.

“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if I can let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a little on the right hand corner, and put a bit more purple along the base, and use a little more pink in the cloud color." I don't do that. I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch it with awe as it unfolds.”
