about ebble counselling

A strong believer in the power of empathetic understanding, I appreciate the importance of being genuinely heard, without fear of judgement or ill feeling. By creating a space where you are able to explore what’s important to you, I will support you in your journey towards your authentic self; the best version of you.

For me, going into counselling was a very scary thing and was so worried about it.. I didn’t need to be.. My experience with Gemma was amazing.. She’s so understanding.. Helpful and empathetic, I found I connected with her very easily and opened up to her more than I ever have in my 50 years of life, I don’t find it easy to speak openly and because of this I’ve put off having counselling for so many years but she made it easy for me and will be forever grateful.. Gemma put things in a way that I would understand and made me realise  that I am actually worth something.. I can not recommend Gemma enough.. She truly has a gift for helping people and makes you feel so at ease.

Gemma has helped me develop as a person, understanding who I am and who I can become. I truly trust her. Her demeanour is so calming and it feels natural to talk to her.

The River Ebble, a bubbling chalk stream near Salisbury, teaming with life, offers a true reflection of psychologist Carl Rogers’ Person-Centred approach to therapy; that given the right conditions, a person can reach their full potential and become their true and best self. Chalk streams are the rarest type of river, their pure clear and constant spring water flowing across flint gravel beds. These conditions create the perfect source of clean, clear water, ideal for nature to thrive.
